If you want to add some extra functionality that might not be provided by built in angular pipe, then you can make you own custom pipe in angular to provide that particular functionality.
In this video i will generate a pipe called short which will be able to make a string short or in simple language it will display the small sub-string of that particular string on which pipe will be applied.
