In this video I am going to show you how to install a mod that will allow you have have up to 20 Sims in your active household.
1 - First thing you need to do is install the mod on your computer. I will post a link in the description to the website where you can download it.
2 - Move the .package file into the Mods fold under Documents
3 - Boot up your game
4 - Once you have a household with 8 Sims move them into the neighbourhood
5 - Once you’ve placed them go back to Create a Sim and make your additional Sims
6 - Place the new sims you’ve made into the neighbourhood with your original family.
7 - In gameplay mode enable “Testing Cheats True” and press the “shift Button” while clicking on the Sim you want in your “active household” and click “Add to family”
There you have it now you have a way of having more than 8 Sims in your active household. You can also try for a baby with this Mod even if you have over 8 sims.
Need to know:
1 - Once you have more than 8 Sims you cannot use Create A Sim without losing all your extra Sims.
Therefore when you want to edit a Sim in CAS mode you must first move out all the extra Sims onto another lot and then go into CAS, edit your Sim and then add the Sims you moved out back into your active household.
2 - When travelling ensure you only travel with one Sim at a time. Once a the new location, click on the other Sims and select “Bring Here”
