Game #438 is Shadow Hearts: Covenant on PS2, a JRPG.
Taking place 2 years after the 'normal' end of Shadow Hearts, and 6 months after the start of World War I, Yuri has secluded himself in the village of Domremy in northern France.
The village is attacked by German troops, and is stopped by Yuri and his ability to fuse with demons, however the leading officer, Karin is saved from an explosion by Yuri before passing out and wakes back up at her home base...
