Migration to Multitenant using Transportable Tablespaces
You can migrate your database directly into an Oracle Database using Data Pump. Your source database can be on a lower release, and you can directly import into a higher release - combining migration and upgrade. Transportable tablespace combined with incremental backups is very useful for large databases.
