Install old IOS app versions for devices on an older IOS
12/30/18 Update: I don't know if this still works I haven't tried it in almost 4 YEARS! When I made the video it worked, but apple is constantly changing the app store and the OS so if for some reason it doesn't work you don't need to complain. Your about 4 years late. With that being said some people are still using this and saying it does work. So if your having issues getting it to work you may be doing something wrong. Apple also recently removed the app section from ITUNES so its now just music and I think videos. If you want to use the old version of ITUNES that still has the appstore you have to download the Developer version of iTunes which is found here https://9to5mac.com/2017/10/09/apple-...
Scroll a little bit down until you see IN BLUE WRITING iTunes 12.6.3 and click on that, it will take you to apples website to download it, after that click on either the 32bit Mac version or the 64bit Windows version to download, BOTH ARE WRITTEN IN BLUE.
REASONS WHY ITS NOT WORKING 1. You missed a step or didn't follow the exact instructions.
2. The app was made for IOS 10 and never had a version for IOS 6, what this means is that as long as the app was made and had a version for the IOS that your trying to install it on it will work. If the app you want was made for ios10 and you want to install it on ios 6 it WILL NOT WORK! One way to find out is go to the appstore and click on the app you want, scroll down to where it says app version and look at the app version history. If it says it has a version for your IOS you should be able to get it to work. Sometimes the app developers don't update that info so if you don't see a version that is compatible there may still be one.
3. The app developer doesn't want there app being used on older IOS versions. Some developers do this for security reasons and so they don't have to keep updating there apps for compatibility.
How to install ios apps that have been updated and require ios 7 or a newer version and you dont have that version on your apple device ( Like ipad, iPhone, Ipod, etc.. Again this is for those on old versions of ios. Simply download the app in the appstore on a computer (make sure you login and use your appleID or it wont work) then after its done delete it and download on your other idevice that it wasn't working on. This only works on apps that had a version on your ios and if the developer allows it. Its stupid because they should work on all ios versions. Only makes sense cuz come one why make the app if you dont want people to use it right. But hey people do dumb crap.
By the way if your a good person, dont ever let anyone tell you you cant do something. If your doing it for the right reasons and you have patience/devotion and will power, you will eventually reach your goals. Just let people who like to talk, talk lol like in rush hour, that way when you prove them wrong people will see how full of crap they really are.
