Convert Cisco AIR-AP1852I-S-K9 to Mobility Express, %Authentication failed No valid user found pleas
Cisco provides two types of firmware for access point wave 2 (1815i, 1832i, 1852i, 2802i, 3802i..) Lightweight and Mobility Express. Mobility Express is firmware that allows the access point to act as a virtual controller that can administer other Lightweight APs in the network.
However, not AP is sold with Mobility Express firmware, so in this video I will show you how to convert Cisco AP firmware to Mobility Express.
Connect your computer to the LAN and make sure to ping from the computer to the AP and vice versa (note to turn off the window firewall to make sure the AP can ping the computer)
If you cannot reset by holding the mode button, press ESC into ROMMON and enter the command
setenv ipaddr 10.1.16.33
setenv netmask 255.255.255.0
setenv gatewayip 10.1.16.1
setenv serverip 10.1.16.46

I like using the " logging console disable" command as soon as I login in order to keep the log messages away from the console interface. Therefore, they won’t get in my way while I configure the AP and upgrade the software images.
