Clayton Brenden of Ballard High School in Seattle. This anti-drinking ad shows the negative effects of alcohol in the most self-conscious setting in a teenager's life: the house party. One young man experiences these consequences as he attempts to talk to a cute girl.
This is one of 24 videos featured in the Images of Youth 2007 Video Festival, April 20, 2007. What especially distinguishes these films is the focus on message. All entrants were asked to demonstrate that they have been critically thinking about their subject matter and have used their skills in expressing to their audience what they feel is an important message. Unlike other national youth video festivals, emphasis on message is considered to be more important than the production skills that students demonstrate. Once again, Action for Media Education (AME) would like to thank all our entrants for participating in our festival.
