Gameplay is actually smoother when playing in Person in Handheld Mode, the 30 Second inbuilt Nintendo Switch recording feature actually seems to make the game appear more Laggy/Choppy than it actually is. In real life Red Dead Redemption on the Nintendo Switch is very smooth with minimal frame drops and no stuttering.
