Welcome to the first episode of our Niagara System tutorial series, where we'll be showing you how to create a custom flamethrower effect with an automatic rotating actor in Unreal Engine.

*Please forgive the sound quality. I'm working on it :)

In this tutorial, we'll start by setting up the Niagara System emitter and configuring the particle system to create a custom flamethrower! Then, I'll guide you through the process of building a custom actor that can automatically rotate and track the player, adding an exciting level of interaction to your game.

Throughout the tutorial, we'll share tips and tricks to help you create engaging and dynamic effects for your game, whether you're an experienced developer or just starting out.

TIPS AND TWEAKS!
Add a material to the Emitter rather than using the default particle. It's best to use a noise map / texture with lots of variations to get a more random fire look.
Adjust the gravity in all directions to make the flame spray less concentrated! On your gravity in your NS for the flamethrower, set a random non uniform to something like min(-100,-100,100) and max (100,100,100). Adjust the numbers as you see fit.
-Add more emitters for a small smoke or other effects you want in your flame!
