I can't predict it but I can always give it a try. Jose Miguel who flew from Mexico to see me and we were able to save his tonsils from a scheduled extraction. This video was a follow up visit many months after his initial visit and the tonsils were still not inflamed and doing great. I used the Muncie Technique, Endonasal Cranial Adjusting with a Balloon in his nose, intra-oral massage, manual cranial adjusting with my fingers on his cranial sutures and I had him massage his soft palate at home.

Tonsillitis is a quite common condition characterized by inflammation of your tonsils, which are two oval-shaped pads of tissue located at the back of the throat. This inflammation is typically caused by viral or bacterial infections, leading to symptoms such as sore throat, difficulty swallowing, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and sometimes a white or yellow coating on the tonsils. While most cases of tonsillitis resolve on their own with rest and home remedies, severe or recurrent cases like Jose Miguel's, require medical intervention, including the possibility of tonsillectomy, which is the surgical removal of the tonsils.

The decision to remove his tonsils, which is a tonsillectomy surgery, was not taken lightly and is typically considered only in specific circumstances. He had recurrent tonsillitis, which is defined as multiple episodes of acute tonsillitis within a year or a fewer number of episodes over a longer period that significantly impact the individual's quality of life. Additionally, his tonsillitis failed to respond to antibiotics, pain relievers and rest. Som, surgical removal was recommended. His tonsils also obstructed his throat and led to difficulty breathing,
It can also lead to obstructive sleep apnea, or recurrent abscess formation. The tonsils have an immunological function and the surgery has risks. So, Jose Miguel did not want to remove them.

It is a joy to have people that come in and team up with me on these unusual cases. I cannot promise results for tonsils and but, with your help out of the office and mine in the office, we can try to optimize your body and let it do the healing.
