In this video, we'll look at the production of pear essence, also known as isoamyl acetate. Isoamyl acetate is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose and is a component of some film adhesive (now no longer used due to new technologies). It's popular in the food industry as pear essence. It has a harmful effect on the central nervous system, so don't sniff it. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS!
