Waiting to pick up Lex after surgery
Lex had a basketball sized tumor successfully removed from his body.
This video was our first encounter with him post his operation, and after spending over a week at the animal hospital.
In the end the tumor came back, which we knew might eventually happen but hoped it wouldn't happen so soon; and we were forced to put him down. His last days were filled with treats, giant bones, swimming at the beach, and rolling around in wet grass. He was treated like the person he thought he was.
