Something Inexplicable Happens in Baikal
Today I will take you to the heart of Siberia, to the shores of the mystical Lake Baikal, where, according to some, lies one of the most exciting mysteries of our time - great secrets, an underwater UFO base and many other mysteries.
The year is 1972. At the height of the Cold War, the Soviet Union is actively exploring not only space, but also the depths of its vast water basins. Baikal, the deepest lake on the planet, was chosen for a secret exercise of the special forces of the USSR Navy. The purpose of the exercise was to test the latest underwater equipment to ensure survival and combat maneuvers in extreme conditions. No one could have guessed that the secret teaching would become one of the most shocking events in the history not only of the USSR, but also of all mankind.
On one of the training days, when the tranquility of the mysterious waters of Lake Baikal seemed absolute, a group of special forces was attacked. But these were no ordinary enemies. Eyewitnesses - two surviving Special Forces divers - told of unidentified underwater objects with unusual characteristics.
They moved with incredible speed and maneuverability, unmatched by any of the underwater vehicles known at the time. According to secret KGB reports, the objects are described as undetectable by others, and their technology as far ahead of any human development. Despite the best efforts of the Soviet authorities to hide the details of the incident, rumors of strange events and unexplained phenomena in Baikal began to spread with incredible speed. Mystery buffs from around the world are turning their attention to this remote region and trying to find answers. Reports of encounters with unidentified underwater objects and stories of survivors of special forces attract to Baikal not only the scientific community, but also a huge number of adventurers.
