Philadelphia Bar Foundation Selects Willig, Williams & Davidson to Receive 2018 Pro Bono Award
Willig, Williams & Davidson is proud to announce that the firm has been selected to receive the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation’s 2018 Pro Bono Award in recognition of its dedication to providing pro bono legal services to those in need. The City of Philadelphia Law Department also has been selected to receive the Pro Bono Award, which will be presented during a ceremony on Nov. 8, 2018 at the Crystal Tea Room.
This prestigious honor is one of two bestowed each year by the Philadelphia Bar Foundation to recognize the area legal community’s commitment to advancing equal access to justice. The Philadelphia Bar Foundation Award honors a public interest attorney working in legal aid in the Philadelphia region and is accompanied by a $2,500 prize. The Pro Bono Award recognizes a local law firm or corporate legal department that engages in significant pro bono work and promotes pro bono volunteerism.
