Script:

To Track your QR Codes and create Custom reports for your campaigns, click the track tab. Once the tracking window opens up you should see something that looks like this. By default, the tracking window will open up and display analytics for your entire account. If you want to view QR Codes by folder, click the drop down menu and take your pick.

Next, select the timeframe you want to view statistics for. You can view by Day, Week, Month, Year, or select a custom date from the calendar and hit apply.

If you want to change the custom dates you have selected, click on either one of the Start and end dates located under the bar chart.

Now that you have selected the QR Code stats and the time frame you want to view ,
let's take a look at all the charts.

Starting on the left you'll see a pie chart displaying the devices that were used to scan your codes. You can flip over to the location setting by clicking here.

For the purpose of this video, I've created a few QR Codes and scanned them all myself, so as you've probably noticed, the stats only show 1 device and location. But that's OK - Normally the graph will appear color coded and display numerous devices and locations.

Moving over to the chart in the centre, you'll see a summary of your total and unique scans based on the timeframe you've chosen. The other pie chart on the right, showcases your top performing codes and outlines their scan rate in comparison to the other codes in your selected account or folder. Click on the top folders button, and you'll see a similar comparison based on the info from all the folders in your account. This is a quick and easy way to discover the QR Codes and campaigns that are really working for you.

Now let's take a look at the list below. You can view the information here by Folder, Barcode or Scans. (By the way, if the word barcode throws you off, just remember that its always referring to QR codes).

If you click folder, you'll see a list of stats for each folder that shows the # of scans, how many barcodes are in each folder, the date it was created and, if you click the "Stats" button, you'll be sent to a Tracking window that displays the individual scanning stats for every code in the entire folder. This list is great for viewing scanning information about the ime & date, location, device used etc. If you'd like to save a copy of this information, export it as a TXT, Excel, or PDF file by clicking the corresponding buttons above the list.

To create a comprehensive custom report based on the data you're currently viewing, click the "Export as PDF" button located above the top of the graph. We'll explore custom reports in more detail in a minute.

When we go back to the main tracking window and select barcodes, we see our standard list of QR Codes that you're probably quite used to. One thing to watch out for is that if you click the URL below the Title of your code, it will be counted as a scan for your QR code, so try to avoid doing this so you can collect more accurate results.

By clicking "View", you'll come to a list displaying the individual scanning stats for each code much like we saw a second ago. The only difference with this screen is that we can edit the advanced settings of our code.

Going back to the main window again and clicking "Scans", we see the list of individual scan stats for the folder that is currently selected in the drop down menu above.

Lastly, let's talk about the custom reports I mentioned earlier. To create and export a custom report, select the timeframe you want to view stats for and then go to the drop down menu and select whether you want to report on a specific folder or the entire account. When you've made your selection hit "Export as PDF" and the report will save to your computer.

When your report loads, you'll see a content summary of what's included in it, the timeframe you've selected and a bar chart of your scans.

Below the barchart is a quick summary of your scan data and at the bottom you'll see two pie-charts showing the Locations your codes were scanned and the Devices used.

And That's all you need to know to Track your QR Codes & Create Custom Reports with TAGO. Now go ahead and start tracking your campaigns -- you'll be surprised at how easy it is to keep tabs on your success!
