Adam Clayton is the bassist for U2. Much of their catalog wouldn't be nearly as good without Adam's tastefully laid down bass grooves. Bono and The Edge may get the most attention and accolades, but without those Adam Clayton low end lines propelling the beat and the melody... I believe U2 would not have been the pop phenomenon that they were.
