As a long time modder of games and an even longer time visually impaired player of games, I wanted to way in on the conversation about modding in Final Fantasy XIV. Not that my perspective has any more weight than anyone else's, but hopefully, it can help provide some understanding as to how much mods can really help players with special needs in a way that Square Enix can't.
