Flexport (Deliverr) Integration | Sellercloud Tutorial
This tutorial will look into how to integrate Flexport (Deliverr) with your Sellercloud account.
What is Flexport (Deliverr)?
As a 3PL company, Flexport is used when sellers would like to store products in a separate warehouse from theirs, having the 3PL ship the goods to the end customers.
With the Flexport integration, you don’t have to ship your own orders, you don’t have to worry about managing a warehouse, paying for warehouse staff, dealing with shipping carriers, etc.
How a 3PL works: You ship your goods to the 3PL, store the goods, sort them, and keep track of inventory. When an order comes in, the order is sent to said 3PL, they ship it out, return the tracking number and update inventory levels.
How does the Flexport fulfillment integration work?
Sellercloud does not send any information to Flexport directly. Flexport pulls information from Sellercloud using the employee account you’ve created for them. Orders with a Ship From warehouse assigned as Flexport are pulled from Sellercloud into Flexport.
To keep your inventory quantities current after sending a shipment to Flexport and deducting it from your local inventory, you can make an inventory adjustment to the items shipped.
After Flexport ships the order, they will update Sellercloud with the tracking information and mark it as Shipped.
How does the Flexport Order Allocation Plugin work?
Sellercloud’s Flexport order allocation plugin will be used when an order meets the following requirements:
► It’s a Walmart Marketplace order AND a Rush order;
OR
► an eBay order with an eBay Guaranteed Delivery (eBay Now) sub-type;
In addition, all order items must have sufficient inventory in the Flexport 3PL warehouse to fulfill the order.
You should set up an Export Orders Scheduled Task to use this plugin. Your saved search can include any paid, unshipped orders that need to be assigned to Deliverr. The plugin will only assign to Deliverr orders that fit those criteria. We recommend setting the task to run every 30 minutes.
Integrate Flexport (Deliverr) with Sellercloud
► First, confirm your eligibility. You can do this by logging into Sellercloud and checking your DBVS version. Contact Sellercloud Support to request an update if your version is older than 7345.
► Next, you will need to create a new Flexport warehouse in Sellercloud.
► Go to Settings, click Inventory, and select Add New Warehouse.
► Name the warehouse Flexport.
► If you are using Skustack, you must confirm that the “Inventory managed strictly per bin” setting is NOT checked.
► Move to the next section and add your business and address details. Click the green icon to save your new warehouse.
► Make a note of your Sellercloud server name from the URL in your web browser.
► Go back to Sellercloud, select or create a new dedicated employee account (user account) to use with Flexport
► Go into Settings and head to the Employees menu.
► Select Manage Employees and click Add New Employee.
► Fill in all the required fields and click Add. Note the information you use here, as it must match what you input into Deliverr later.
► To confirm that your account is valid, log in with the credentials you just created in Sellercloud.
► Return to the Flexport setup page and enter your Sellercloud Login Email, Sellercloud Login Password, and the Sellercloud server name you recorded earlier.
► Click Connect Sellercloud to finish connecting Flexport to Sellercloud.
► Ensure to set up the order allocation plugin or implement your own custom plugin to automatically assign the correct orders to Flexport.
