Israel guilty of 'mass sexual assaults' of Palestinian women, say legal experts

In an interview with MEE, two legal experts describe the spike in sexual assault cases against Palestinian women since 7 October, including sexual harassment at military checkpoints and rape in Israeli prisons.
Despite Israeli soldiers reportedly using the stigma of sexual assault to silence Palestinians from speaking out, they note that it's had the opposite effect: as more women suffer, more feel emboldened to share their stories.
