"This Film" follows the journey of a ten-year-old girl named Dara, along with her ethnic Serb family, who were captured by the Croatian Ustasa regime in the 1940s. They were interned in the Jasenovac concentration camp, one of the largest death camps in Europe during World War II.
The film highlights the unimaginable suffering endured by Dara and her family in the camp. They are tortured and face various hardships, while Dara struggles to maintain her innocence amidst the atrocities unfolding around her.
Dara strives to protect her younger siblings and finds strength in courage and hope to survive amidst the horrific circumstances. Despite being exposed to atrocities and tragedy, Dara maintains a spirit of courage and kindness in her efforts to survive.
