Yes it's railing, because the Rorsch MK-4 railgun :) Trying again to catch up on footage. To those who are probably going to ask about the new update to Battlefield 2042 bringing back all-chat I have a few thoughts on the subject. For starters why now? Yeah the chat system in BF2042 was originally different from BFV's the most recent prior Battlefield title but with Season's 4 update they brought back that chat system or it's weird global functionality like it was in BFV which is odd for a few reasons. It was brought up during BFV that the reason we would no longer see FairFight ban notifications in-game via the chat ( like we did in BF4 and BF1 ) was because of the changes to the chat system for BFV. I would think they'd want to avoid that since announcing bans publicly tends to help the general population for the game see that something is being done to cheaters especially now with crossplay. The other reason I'm concerned or wondering why now is because it didn't seem like DICE were going to be spending that much more resources or developer time making those kinds of changes to the game. I mean I know the DICE UI team likes to move HUD elements and icons with every update just to mess with people but this seems like one of those things they weren't going to be bringing back at least not this far into the game's lifespan. Which brings me to the main point, how much longer are they actually going to spend on this game? Yes I know we are getting a Season 5 but that is a map and some more Portal weapons no? Are they going to keep adding things to Portal and then bringing them into the main BF2042 game? I suppose that is possible since most of Season 4 was made by Ripple Effect ( DICE LA ) so maybe they will be continuing to support the entire game moving forward. I'm not really sure it's hard to tell who or how many at DICE Sweden are still focused heavily on BF2042, especially now that the legally required content has been delivered. I may be overthinking things but it feels like we are going to run into one of those long droughts like we did with BF1 and BFV where they deliver some cosmetics and one or two weapons down the road when in reality they should probably have already moved on to the next one.
You think since they changed their minds on all-chat they'll be more open to speeding up the ADS times for long range optics like they were at launch?
