This composition was written after receiving the news of the very tragical death of the young guitarist Kefei Huang. For her English name she had chosen Leonor and she was a bright soul and talent on her way to study guitar at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore. She translated several of my articles about guitar technique to Chinese as well as was a part of the early testings of the Sueño guitars in Zheng'An. This passing of a student, colleague and friend was has been hard to process and it was earlier to sensitive for me to share this piece. However for the sake of her memory I now hope that this modest composition can honour her too short life. As she said in her last message she was looking forward to have a bright smile again…
