The tolerance paradox states that unlimited tolerance inevitably leads to the disappearance of tolerance.
The Austrian-British philosopher Karl Popper (1902–1994) was the first to describe this paradox in 1945 in his book "The Open Society and Its Enemies."
In this video, you'll learn what distinguishes open from closed societies, how the paradox of tolerance arises, and what solution Popper offers.
