Yea, learning graphic design isn't that hard, but you need the right start to be good at it. Watch this video for the full guide on learning to design!
Learning to design is a very important skill in today’s world, and knowing such a simple skill can get you very far in the tech industry. Because of that, today, I’ll go over design principles, how you can get started, and how to make amazing yet basic designs by the end of this video. That alone seems pretty intimidating, but all you really need to make good designs is knowing what you’re doing, and the right start (which I’ll help give in this video). Well, you could think that you don’t need to learn anything in order to make good designs, you just drag and drop in Adobe Illustrator. Well, you could go down that path, but let’s be real. You don’t wanna be the guy who makes these (show bad design on screen) designs. If I’ve convinced you to still watch and learn to make great designs, let’s get into the minicourse!
As I mentioned before, there are simply 4 steps to proficiently understand, and they’re not as difficult or confusing as you might think they are. The 4 steps are: setup your software, learn the basic tools available, choosing the right colors for the right project, and PRACTICE! After going over these parts, I have a dedicated section where I go over additional tools and features if you’re feeling adventurous. Remember, this part is completely OPTIONAL, and only go for it if you feel proficient in the core steps I provide. Now, let’s start setting up our tool!
This is one of my videos in my new series, "Tech Skills in Demand", where I cover different tech skills that are currently in demand in 2021. Some examples are cybersecurity, DevOps, coding, designing, and a bunch more that I can't just list here in the description! Let me know if you are interested in these types of videos or not.
