I got a sewing machine, here's how that went
soooooo for my birthday, in the midst of the slow horror that is writing cover letters and applying for jobs, I decided it was high time to pick up one of the hobbies I started (and abandoned) as a child: sewing.
this is the beginning of this little journey and good. god. picking up the things that made you happy as a child and a teen again as an adult has a kick like nothing else does. I thoroughly recommend. Sewing is also just an insanely useful skill set to have and incredibly. under. valued.
Every household should have a sewing machine and sewing needs to be a basic skill again.
