The Conjurors Convention 10 (SAMS Magic Convention 2012)
Since 2012, John has released an annual magic convention movie entitled "The Conjurors Convention".
In 2021, due to restrictions imposed by the UK government, Blackpool magic convention was cancelled and so it was not possible to film a new Conjurors Convention movie at Blackpool as was previously planned. Fortunately however, John had previously filmed a movie that was originally intended to be part of "The Conjurors Convention" series almost a decade prior that has to date never been released publicly in full.
The context was that, in 2012 (just after the first ever Conjurors Convention movie was released), John decided to make a sequel. Rather than wait till Blackpool Magic Convention 2013, John instead decided to go to The SAMS (Scottish Association of Magical Societies) in Kilmarnock with his friend Ian McLellan.
This movie was set over 3 days. The first day features John and Ian accompanied by Edinburgh magician Elliot Bibby performing street magic in John's home town area. The final two days of the film takes place in Kilmarnock in and around at the SAMS magic convention itself.
This movie was radically different from the previous movie and featured very few of the previous characters. It also had a heavy emphasis on street magic performances as well as performances recorded at the convention itself. It was originally titled "A Magic Weekend" and was archived until 2021 when it would be released as The Conjurors Convention 10.
