**Update. The video does not cover where to find updated drivers, but the best (and safest) place is through your computer's support site. For those with an ASUS F51OUA, the latest audio driver is version 8.66.95.69 which is also later than the drivers listed.

My ASUS laptop is great, but it came with a Conexant audio driver - many laptops did. But Conexant went bust and does not update its drivers. Currently Windows 10 will not update to the latest version because of a driver conflict. But it is overly cautious. The last Conexant driver is later than the Windows warning and Windows 10 can be safely installed - but this needs to be done directly from Microsoft.

"Synaptics and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues with certain versions of drivers for Conexant ISST audio driver and Windows 10, version 2004 (the Windows 10 May 2020 Update). Windows 10 devices with affected Conexant ISST audio driver might receive an error or experience issues while installing the update or after the device has updated. The affected driver will be named Conexant ISST Audio or Conexant HDAudio Driver under Sound, video and game controllers in Device Manager and have file name uci64a96.dll through uci64a231.dll and a file version of 7.231.3.0 or lower."

You can see the issue from Microsoft:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...

But the last Conexant driver was 7.231.4.0 - if your machine has this then you can upgrade safely. The video shows you how to check.

Once you have checked that you have the correct driver you can download the Windows update from:
