Are you struggling to delete a stubborn partition or volume on your hard drive? Sometimes Windows Disk Management grays out the "Delete Volume" option, especially for EFI system partitions, recovery partitions, or OEM reserved space. In this tutorial, we show you two reliable ways to force-delete these partitions and reclaim your disk space.
We demonstrate how to use the free NIUBI Partition Editor for a visual approach and the powerful DiskPart command-line utility for a more advanced "override" method. Whether you are cleaning up an old cloned drive or preparing a disk for a fresh installation, these steps will help you get rid of any unwanted partitions. Warning: These processes will permanently erase data on the selected partitions, so please back up your files first.
