To prepare
signature stamps, watercolor palettes, 2 round brushes, a flat brush, a plate for ink, thin Korean papers (It can be replaced with other thin paper that spreads well), a used waste paper, a pressing stone (something that you can press to keep your paper from moving.), etc.

‘Sagunja’ is a Korean word that symbolizes four plants: plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo, and is an important material of oriental ink painting that symbolizes integrity.
Plum trees first bloom in the cold of early spring.
The plum spreads its roots in the frozen ground and smells even in the snow.
Plums take root in frozen ground and even smell in the cold snow. So the plum blossom has been expressed in paintings in the past compared to the incision and nobility of the scholars.

"Sumugdamchaehwa" is a traditional Korean ink painting technique drawn through the brightness of ink which is called "Mug". It is similar to watercolor, but it is drawn with one brush without repeated brushing.
In Asian culture, black and white, which were not regarded as colors in the West, were perceived as colors. If you need a new method of meditation, I recommend you try this painting technique.
