First of all: I hope you are all well.
I've had a bit of a cold the past few days, but I'm feeling better.
As you can see I changed my setup. But first I have one
small support behind the Volca shelf, which I built from IKEA shelves, so that the thing has more hold.
This gives me the opportunity to attach additional devices to the back. Among other things, the NTS-1, the RK006 from Retrokits and the MickXer, which brings the noise asu to the Volcas, which I have had since I started using the MyVolts USB cable. But MyVolts was so friendly and helped me fix it and it works great.
The full hour mix today came from a melody, a little song that I just wanted to record quickly, and then I couldn't stop, you know that. In principle, I was able to test whether the transitions between the circuit and the Volca Drum work well if you don't have a mixer connected and I can say that this is really great. A little practice .. and then. Overall, there are more mistakes in the mix than usual, but I still didn't want to withhold this from you, because there are just a few really cool spots that you will definitely like.
An important detail: I equipped myself with a DJI Mobile 3 tripod, and that's really great. Stands rock solid and I can even incorporate movements into the recordings, but I still have to deal with them.
