Willam Friedkin addressed the specter of psychotic paranoia with his adaptation of Tracy Letts' play “Bug.” A film that would become, perhaps unintentionally, a prophetic gem that perfectly mirrors part of the modern world.
One of the elements of its visual language that stood out the most to me is the use of the main character’s perspective to tell this terrifying story.
