Eh, Lara, this isn't a continuity in which you can just casually take trips to Peru and extinct a few species of animals and crap. What's that, there's a shotgun not too far from where the video ends? Well, I'll shut up than.
Yeah. My internet is back to running like a chain smoker with a broken leg and asthma rather than a snail with a broken whatever, so it's time to resume uploading. 3 days worth of attempting to upload Persona 4 video 105 and I finally realized that that particular video is broken, not Youtube itself (for once). So I tested out another video, and here it is, the what I assume is the completely unexpected new LP, especially because the current one is still going. It's only a temporary setback, people, I'll finish P4. P3FES? Eh, it's a grindfest. Like, an even bigger grindfest than all other SMT games I've played so far combined. I've yet to finish it, or come very far really, so it's still on the table, ready to be either picked up of thrown off. This game though? Completed, and the same is true for Tomb Raider 2. TR3? Not so much, God damn that game hates people. Maybe I just needed a break? We'll see.
Anyway, that's the state of the channel drama. This game is the re-re-release of the original TR1, and minus one or two admittedly prevalent but otherwise minor bugs, it's very accurate and entirely playable. Also, for those that have played or seen Anniversary, that game is a remake or reboot and isn't entirely faithful to the original in favour of using it as a bridge to cut and paste together TR Legend and TR Underworld. This game has nothing to do with King Arthur, or with Lara's missing mother. In fact, if you read the manual, you'll learn that in this continuity Lara's parents are very much alive and well, but they disowned her for going against their wishes of getting married into the wealthy British upper-class. If you're wondering where she's getting her cash from when she doesn't have a dead parent or two, well, the manual says she's a writer and funds her trips with selling books about the stuff she found in her travels. Apparently she has a knack for finding stuff of "profound archaeological interest", so yeah.
You can go right ahead and forget that BTW, it never comes up in the original games.
Also, despite playing the PC version of the game, I've added in the PS1 version music that was missing form the PC port. Or added to the PS1 port, I don't know. How did I do that? Though sheer force of Google. I don't, however, have Unfinished Business, and I don't care for Unfinished Business, so yeah.
