How to send 8-bit data to Shift Register ( IC74164 ) using One Wire ?
Normally IC74164 uses two pins, data pin and clock pin to receive bits.
In this video, I have shown, how you can make a digital circuit using IC556, IC555 and IC4017 which will allow us to send data using only one wire to a SIPO (Serial In Parallel Out) shift register.
This is a usefull, simple, Digital circuit design project. You will get to learn about IC555, All IC555 modes are covered - Monostable, Bistable and Astable.
