Review of Madea's Tough Love
I had seen Bebe's Kids growing up and absolutely hated it. However, on the opposite side of the spectrum, I enjoyed the PJs growing up even though it was hackneyed and in terrible taste (but the show was fairly true to life, which is what made it controversial for the time). This is nothing like Bebe's Kids at all. It features the same Madea charm we have all come to know and love. Not only that but there are a lot of good morals and values you can take with you. The animation is really pretty as well. The storyboard comparisons are fun and the sketches of Madea in the extras are really beautiful. I would've loved to have met the artists who were responsible and learned some of their tricks ! They looked like they had a blast making this.
