Brooklyn Brewery London Mash Event 2016
The Brooklyn Brewery London Mash Event was photography bliss. I've always steered away from Event photography but when I was invited to come along to shoot several awesome venues, and shoot them my way, I couldn't believe my luck. I got to spend time with some amazing people including Andrew Gerson (damn this guy can cook), beer educators Gabe Barry and Garrett Oliver, Voodoo Rays (pizza heaven) and the guys at Event Bars (for whom the word thirsty doesn't exist). A big thanks to my friend Mike Watson who hooked this up for me. Big up for the bands: Messenger, The Graveltones (who supplied the track), Metz and Hey Colossus. It was 5 days of rock n roll beer heaven kicking of at the Smoking Goat in Soho, then on to St John Church in Hackney Wick via an awesome cook-out with the BlackSkulls MotorCycle gang. This was followed by two days at MC Motors (Castle Gibson) before finishing up with Andrew giving a DIY dinner party at Cactus Kitchens.
