Zinc coating effectively separate pipe from air, moisture, and corrosive substances, enhancing corrosion resistance and ensuring an extended service time. Anti-corrosion measures for galvanized pipes can be implemented in three key aspects:
1.Production Process Control: Before hot dipped galvanizing, take full degreasing, water rinsing, and pickling getting smooth clean pipe surface, ensuring zinc coating even and complete. Passivating evenly and fully on pre-galvanized pipes. Also increasing zinc coating g/m² can improve corrosion resistance, this raises cost.
2.Transportation and Installation: Prevent mechanical collisions and friction to avoid damaging the zinc layer.
3.Daily Use and Maintenance: Avoid direct contact with acidic or alkaline corrosive liquids and prevent high-temperature baking. Although galvanized pipes have good heat resistance, exposure to high temperatures or prolonged high-temperature environments can still impact their lifespan and performance. Regular inspection and maintenance are essential, if any pipe or zinc coating damage should be promptly repaired.
