Healthy Sorrel Lemonade
Summer is ending, so it's time to share the recipe for homemade lemonade we've been making all season.
160 g sorrel
80 g sugar
80 ml water
lemon juice (10 ml per serving or to taste)
soda water
Bring the sugar and water to a boil until the sugar dissolves, then let cool. For those who like it sweeter, I recommend making more syrup; just keep the ratio 1:1 (sugar to water).
Purify the sorrel and syrup in a blender.
Place ice in a glass, fill halfway with sorrel, add lemon juice and soda water, and stir.
You can mix it directly in a large container, but keep in mind that the carbonation will dissipate quickly. Therefore, I prefer to mix it in a glass. The sorrel mixture can be bottled and stored in the refrigerator.
You can also add fresh ginger or red pepper, but be careful 😉
