this has fixed my gritty mic quality in shadowplay and OBS
this has also fixed my pals sudden bad sound quality with a Blue Snowball (might work for Blue Yeti too)
worth doing all of this just for a good measure, it won't hurt you would it
my mic is crackly because of a manufacturing defect by the way
