REL #26 CMU200 as SA (software: FreRes and VMA)
Following up on my video on using the Rohde & Schwarz CMU200 as a stand-alone Spectrum Analyzer, I now examine two different software programs that significantly add to the functionalities of the device. These programs are:
Rohde & Schwarz FreRes (v5.30)
VMA Spectrum Analyzer for Rohde & Schwarz CRTU (By VMA'S SATELLITE BLOG)
While FreRes adds important frequency response capabilities, it is difficult to install and crashes rather frequently. VMA is a flexible spectrum analyser tool, offering powerful display options (including waterfall/spectrogram), several measurement functions, and interesting satellite recognition functions.
