*Fred Passler served as a Missionary in the Yucatan Peninsula and visited Forreston Grove on more than one occasion, landing and parking his plane on the church premises, according to David Graff. Historical records show Fred's plane was acquired by donations from fifteen presbyterian churches and dedicated on May 19th, 1958. Passler used it in mission activities with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in the Yucatan Peninsula until an accident in November of 1961 during an attempt to land in inclement weather. He and another passenger were killed. According to David Graff, the passenger was a student pilot from the area, and the wreckage was found in the jungle about a quarter mile from the runway.

**The reference to Billy Graham's speaking engagement in Chicago in (presumably) early 1956 could not be corroborated. The nearest reference was November, 1956 at Moody Church.
