The new 2025 Porsche Panamera combines a low sports-car seating position with considerably more comfort than a 911. Thomas puts the third-generation Panamera through a full Autobahn test to find out how well that combination works.

Our test car is a European-spec Panamera 4 E-Hybrid featuring the new Porsche Active Ride suspension. The system actively controls body movement during acceleration, braking and cornering, significantly widening the range between comfort and sporty handling.

We also take a detailed look at the redesigned exterior, interior quality, seats, digital cockpit, optional passenger display, rear-seat comfort, cargo space and the new E-Hybrid system.

The driving section includes acceleration on the German Autobahn, hybrid driving modes, battery behavior, Porsche Active Ride, ride comfort, handling and real-world fuel consumption.

Thomas ultimately finds the Panamera to be one of the most relaxed Porsche models: it retains the low seating position and sporty driving feel while delivering substantially more comfort than a 911.

The vehicle shown is a European-spec Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. Specifications, pricing and available versions vary by market.
