The trends will tell you that the best place to stay in Bali is in Canguu, but is this really what you travelled so far for? Canguu is definitely not the best place to rent a villa in Bali.
Searching for a villa in Bali was far more difficult than we had expected. It took us 6 hours of scooter rides and over 198km later to finally find a decent villa to rent long term.
Naturally we followed the trends and headed straight to search for a villa in Canggu to search for a villa to rent long term. After all, thats where everyone says is the best spot to live when you move to Bali. But, this was far from the truth. The moment we started our villa search we felt that Canguu was so BUSY!
We found a villa in heaven after all our searching in Canggu fell short. ULUWATU, is where you really need to be looking. Thats where the magic lives, and this is really where you should stay when you come to Bali. Its the best place to live in Bali
