Vice President Kamala Harris and current Democratic Presidential nominee is not outlining any of her gun control platform on her website or in any real detail in her speeches. So, what are her policy positions?
To discern what she could possibly push if she were to become President, let's look back at her previous positions when she first ran for President back in 2019 - where she said she would use executive order and unchecked presidential power to ban assault weapons including with a mandatory buyback that would potentially have police going door to door to enforce the gun grabbing executive order.
She also said she would use executive power to enact universal background checks, red flag laws, and ban the importation of so-called assault weapons from other countries.
But now she said in a memo that she no longer supports some of these positions.
