Usually not very difficult, the 3327m of this Almagellerhorn were not so easy to reach at the end of September.
I had planned 3h00 for the round trip from the valley (1656m D +/-), it took me a good hour more...!
This time, summer is over. I had to deal with little snowfalls, negative temperatures (my flasks of water froze !), a constantly changing weather and fatigue accumulated from previous trailrunning days...
But I'm happy to have reached this summit in these conditions, that’s mountain life too !
