In this AU. Sato (Takemichi’s dad) left his family when Takemichi was 3 and Takemichi’s brother Kenji was 9. Kyoko (Takemichi’s mom) was very adamant that they follow her rules, wear what she wants them to wear, and look how she want them to look. When she wasn’t telling them how to look or what to do she would neglect them. Kenji was a gang leader when he was in middle school. Kenji looked after Takemichi most of the time. When Kenji was 16 he ran away from home and didn’t take Takemichi with him. Without Kenji Kyoko would lash out more at Takemichi. When Takemichi was in middle school he started to stay out as long as possible to avoid going home.
