Do Pokémon card show vendors actually give fair cash offers, or are they just looking to rip you off?
I took a range of Pokémon cards to a local card show to test the market and see what vendors are actually willing to pay. I brought heavy hitters like a Mega Charizard X ex, a M Gengar EX, and a CGC Pristine 10 Pikachu to see how different vendors evaluate condition, grading companies, and market value. The results were all over the place, from brutal 60% lowballs to surprisingly fair 80%+ cash payouts. We also took a quick break to rip some packs.
