DaVinci Resolve 18 on Linux can be a bit of a challenge to get setup right away. This video will show you how to resolve to major issues that I faced:
Imported Video Clips (Training Material from Black Magic Design) did not show video, only audio wavs - and not all imported
Once Videos are in correct format, the embedded audio lip-sync was not aligned in Resolve, but was in sync in other media players
In short, most video files must be transcoded an appropriate DNxHD .mov format before it can be used properly in the free version of Resolve running on Linux. Good Luck! I hope this video helps you!

BTW, This is my FIRST YouTube video fully produced in DaVinci Resolve! All prior videos were done with Final Cut Pro. The Export Render of this video took approximately 32 seconds on this new workstation I built ( build details at end of description)
Software Used:
DaVinci Resolve 18 for Linux (Free)
