This is how I maintain, edit or make new posts to my static site. You can use the same to easily write your thoughts via your mobile phone and push to GitHub, The Automatic (continuous) deployment will be automatically taken care by your hosting server.
so, you can now site at your park and write anything. if you own a VPS, then Rsync is the better option.
