💥 Robotface worked with @pixel.melbourne to deliver this spot for @officeworks. Our Bolt motion control camera robot was brought in to build a circular move around multiple talent in multiple locations. A ‘wave’ motion was introduced also, where the camera raises and lowers throughout the orbit also, to add more visual nuance.
🕹 Lit beautifully by @edwardgoldner and directed by @maximusmilla, the piece was shot on a ARRI Mini LF. Where once upon a time one might have approached this project with circular tracks in mind to travel a camera around the talent, the robot arm was the more practical choice as it was able to reach across bench tops, desks, coffee tables and beds, where a traditional tracks setup would have been impossible - not to mention also the system can control the exact timings required for each slow and fast pass, so every shot could fit perfectly into the final edit.
🧐 Great team, great shoot - thanks @pixel.melbourne !
