Quality News (Kinetic Typography)
A class project where I took a classmate's original audio file and visualized it.
Due to the subject matter's more serious nature, I decided to strictly focus on a typographic piece. I first constructed a collage of the phrases used in the audio to present a visual base. Using opacity changes and masks I animated the text to be revealed as they were spoken.
The video is presented in a pitch dark room so the flickering lights would be the only source of light; fully immersing the viewers and forcing them to face the ridiculous reality of our country's political climate in 2016.
This project was made in December 2018.
